Colour Correction Policy

At Tiffany Frances Salon, our priority is maintaining the health of your hair and achieving the best possible colour results. Colour correction is a specialised service designed to fix or improve colour work that has been carried out elsewhere. Because every colour correction is unique, we ask all clients to read and agree to the following policy before booking:

1. No Guarantees on Corrective Work

If your colour was originally done at another salon or at home, we cannot guarantee the final result.
We may not know:

What products, chemicals, or techniques were previously used
How many processes the hair has undergone
How the hair will react once we begin treatment
For these reasons, we can only guarantee that our team will use their professional skills and judgement to achieve the safest, most suitable outcome.

2. Mandatory Consultation

A full consultation is required before booking any colour correction service.
During this consultation, we will:

Assess the condition of your hair
Discuss realistic expectations and possible outcomes
Recommend a plan based on what is safely achievable
Patch tests and strand tests may be required.

3. Hair Integrity Comes First

Our stylists will not carry out any service that they believe may cause further damage to the hair.
If a desired result is unsafe or unrealistic, alternative options will be offered.

4. Multi-Stage Process

Colour correction often requires multiple appointments.
This may include:

  • Removing or neutralising unwanted tones
  • Rebuilding pigment
  • Treating and strengthening the hair between colour sessions
  • Your stylist will advise you of an estimated plan, but timelines may change depending on how your hair responds.

5. Payment & Satisfaction

Due to the time, expertise, and products required, colour correction services are priced according to the work performed—not the end result.
This means:

Payment is required in full at the time of your appointment, even if the final result is not exactly what you hoped for.
We will always strive to achieve your desired outcome, but results cannot be guaranteed when correcting work we did not originally perform.

6. Aftercare Commitment

Clients must follow the recommended aftercare to maintain colour and hair health. Products and routines will be discussed during your appointment.
